Javicia Leslie will don the Batwoman suit as Ryan Wilder, and we finally get a glimpse of what she’ll look like.
Wilder will don Kate Kane’s original Batwoman suit in the beginning; she will develop her own style to let Gotham know there’s a new bat in town.
Executive producer Caroline Dries says, “Ryan’s journey starts from a place of ‘What can this Batsuit do for me?’
Ryan will embrace the things that make her special and tweak the suit to fit her personal style. You’ll notice a new body design, including red gauntlets over the forearms and shorter boots. The red wigged cowl is gone and now features natural, curly hair with red streaks.
You’ll get to see this new suit in action when Batwoman returns for season 2.
